Kaan Apaydin
Kaan Apaydin is a research assistant in the Information Systems and Process Analytics working group and is involved in the Förde 5G and Datencampus projects.
His academic background includes a degree in Information Systems at Kiel University from 2015 to 2021, including a semester abroad in Portsmouth, England, in 2018. He completed his studies with a Bachelor's and Master's degree.
Kaan Apaydin gained professional experience at the ITVT Group, where he worked on the data-driven automation of reports and analysing business processes using process mining.
Research focus:
Kaan Apaydin's research centres on the application of process mining in the context of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). His work includes the development of AR applications for the HoloLens2, which are used to analyse and optimise business processes, especially at the Port of Kiel. Kaan Apaydin is also working on the application of large language models and reinforcement learning to analyse process data.
