Moayad is a doctoral student in the Process Analytics Group at the University of Bayreuth. With a background in computer science and software engineering, he developed a strong interest in data-centric research during his time with the High-Performance and High-Availability Research Group at Louisiana Tech University. His academic path then took him to Auburn University, where he expanded his focus to machine learning and semantic technologies.
His current research focuses on object-centered process mining, knowledge graphs, semantic aspects, synthetic data and generative AI.
Moayad is currently working on the NFDIxCS (National Research Data Infrastructure for and with Computer Science) project, which aims to support the implementation of FAIR principles for research data and software in computer science.
